Keckley offers several different types of fabricated duplex strainers. One option incorporates a header assembly where two cast or fabricated basket strainers are installed in parallel with butterfly valves for diverting the flow and check valves to guard against possible backflow into the system. Keckley also offers a more compact fabricated duplex design that can either incorporate an in-line or off-set flange design for a shorter face-to-face dimensional requirement. This design consists of fabricated pipe, tee’s and basket strainers with slave linked butterfly valves in most cases to control the diversion of fluid from one chamber to the other.

Keckley’s fabricated duplex basket strainers are available with numerous types of cover options. From bolted, slip-hinged, knob, swing-away, quick opening, or davit swing arm assembly allowing for ease in maintenance, Keckley has your options. Quick opening and davit swing arm assembly covers allow for a single maintenance engineer to manage the cleaning of the unit reducing maintenance cost and downtime.

Fabricated duplex basket strainers can be fitted with special tapings for vents, drains, or differential pressure gauges in flanged, threaded, socket weld, or butt-weld connections.

Keckley fabricated duplex basket strainers can be constructed in a wide variety of materials: Carbon Steel, 304/304L Stainless Steel, 316/316L Stainless Steel, Alloy 20, Hastelloy C276, Chrome-Moly, or even Copper Nickel to name a few.
