Keckley's industrial and commercial pipeline strainers are designed for a wide variety of applications where protection from foreign matter in a pipeline is required.
Keckley pipeline strainers are suited for an assortment of applications such as:
- Petroleum Production & Refining
- Pulp & Paper
- Food & Beverage
- Water & Sewage
- Oil & Gas
- Commercial Construction
- Power Generation
- Marine
- Chemical
- Pharmaceutical
- Automotive
- HVAC
Keckley castings are machined to exacting specifications. Pipeline strainers are
examined and inspected per our in-house quality control program to guarantee
the highest caliber product. All pipeline connections are in accordance with ASME standards: B16.1, B16.11,
B16.18, B16.24, B16.34, B16.42, and B16.5 respectively. Castings are
hydrostatically tested per a minimum of 1.5 times the design pressure to ensure
their integrity. Liquid Penetrant Examination (PT) as well as other non
destructive examination (NDE) procedures can be performed.
Keckley engineers have designed the castings and screens to provide a maximum total
screen area allowing for low pressure loss. Keckley Y-strainers can be installed
in a vertical downward flow or horizontal pipeline, where Keckley simplex
basket strainers and duplex basket strainers should be mounted in a horizontal
pipeline.
