BVSD Seal Welded 3-Way Diverter Valve
The Keckley Style BVSD 3-Way Diverter Valves are seal welded, eliminating the possibility of tailpiece separation or leakage in service. All shell components are investment cast in ASTM grade materials and are properly heat treated and chemically finished after machining. ASME B16.34 compliance insures heavier wall thicknesses and proper pressure retaining stress levels. Stem strengths, port sizes, electrical grounding and operating torques/handle loads all comply with API 608.
Industrial and Oil & Gas applications where diversion of flow is required from “center” port to left and right ports with 90 degree handle rotation. These ball valves are specifically designed so the “center” (side) port is always the inlet port. Because these valves are fully compliant to both ASME B16.34 and API 608, they can be used in all ASME B31 piping applications.
